"I feel a cold chill running through my bones if I sit in a 65° F room for over twenty minutes." Another person might love 65 degree temperatures, but find themselves in discomfort in a room heated to 80 degrees.
Often we don’t think about our likes and dislikes until an "uncomfortable" situation comes to our attention - the drafty window at night that lets cold air blow across our heads when we are in bed or the poorly insulated walls that allow the cold to penetrate our fingers and toes if we sit still too long.
