Within the cycle of the Earth’s ecosystem is the smaller cycle of carbon dioxide/ oxygen production. There are other small cycles and natural laws contained within the ecosystem such as water, carbon, seasons, heat transference to cold, gravity, etc.
A brief overview of the (CO²/ O) cycle is -- humans release in their exhaled breath carbon dioxide (CO²), while trees and other plants take in the exhaled carbon dioxide (CO²) and in turn produce oxygen (O) for humans to breathe.
Water has its own cycle. The energy from the sun excites water molecules transforming water into gas—humidity. Humidity rises and forms clouds. Eventually a cloud reaches its limit for holding humidity and it drops the water (H²O) back into a cooler liquid, (rain or dew). The rainwater falls from the atmosphere covering the earth. It goes into streams, rivers, ponds, lakes, and eventually makes its way back to the oceans, recycling over-and-over.
As you can begin to see, everything is interrelated.
